Sermon by: Pastor Matt Spradlin Romans 1:8-17 The apostle Paul was a man of tremendous passion. Passion is not an accident, it is born out of intense focus. The reason Paul was passionate was he was focused on God and the things of God. If you and I want to have passion in our Christian life, it will not just happen. It will be because we have chosen to focus on God and things of God.

Sermon By: Stephen Downes Colossians 1:15-20 When faced with temptation, trials, idols of the heart, suffering, and sin, the question our hearts really ask is not “Why I stay faithful to Jesus,” but rather, “Why should I stay faithful to Jesus?” Today, we will look at Three Reasons to Stay Faithful to Jesus. Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin 1 Corinthians 7:1-6 The purpose of marriage is to bring glory to God. Remember it is not our marriage, it is God’s marriage. Our marriage is to be a center of God’s glory upon the earth. God has a specific design for how our marriage is to look and operate- and that plan includes physical intimacy. Sex is God’s idea and He created it to be enjoyed within the marriage relationship. Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin 1 Corinthians 6:12-20 The Bible has a very high view of our body. The Bible teaches the unity of our spirit and body; God created both and they both belong to Him. Therefore, the purpose of our body is to glorify God by demonstrating His presence and His ownership of our life. Our bodies belong to Christ who redeemed us and we are to use them as instruments of righteousness. |
