Sermon by: Pastor Matt Spradlin 1 Corinthians 2:6-3:4 Paul’s definition of a spiritual person is not someone who meditates and lives a good life. A spiritual person is someone who has a relationship with God through Jesus. Someone whose sins have been forgiven and has experienced the grace of God. The Spirit of God lives in the life of a believer and confirms in your heart the Word of God is true and impresses God’s Word on your heart.

Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 The focus of the Bible is Jesus, and the whole Bible points to Jesus. The message of the church is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. If we put Christ in the center, like centrifugal force, He pulls everything to Him. Our job is to proclaim Christ and Him crucified. That is the only message that can save souls and transform lives. Sermon by: Stephen Downes Colossians 2:6-7 The Gospel, without it there is no salvation, no hope, no growth. To add to it or step away from it, is to shipwreck your faith. But, if you continue in it, you will experience all that God is for you in Jesus, you will experience all the promises of God, all the blessing of salvation, and all the benefits of the Gospel. But you must continue in what you have received. Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin 1 Corinthians 15:12-34 The resurrection of Jesus is the hinge point of history. If it is true, the gospel is true. If it is false, the gospel is false. Everything hinges and depends upon it because the resurrection was the vindication by God that our sin was paid in full on the cross. |
