Dr. Matthew Spradlin
Lead Pastor
Pastor Matthew loves the Lord and he loves people and he loves food, and in that order. His greatest calling is to honor and enjoy God. His second greatest calling is to serve His family. Pastor Matthew and his wife Leanne have four children: Charity, Malachi, Evangeline, and Mercy. His third greatest calling is to serve God’s people. He has said, “God called me first to Him, then He called me to serve His people.” He loves personal evangelism and teaching the Bible verse-by-verse, but most of all he loves changed lives.

Pastor of Youth I am His, He is mine. I have two daughters, but known at Shoreline as Claire’s dad, because my oldest Hannah and their mom Lori are with the Lord Jesus. I homeschool Claire to nurture her faith in Christ and love for people. We enjoy telling people about Jesus together at the HB pier—team Daddy and Claire! Lori put me through degrees so that at California Baptist University I have a front row seat as an adjunct professor to what God is doing in student lives. I’m just as thankful to God for the front row seat to what Christ is doing in the lives of youth at Shoreline. I’m also a philosopher—we write in the first person. |
