Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin 2 Corinthians 4:1-7 There are times when our situation looks so hopeless, we just want to quit trying. We are tired of getting knocked down over and over. Paul had every reason to quit, but he just kept going. He never lost heart. The Bible teaches that as Christians we are going to get be knocked down, but by God’s grace and mercy we can get back up.

Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin Luke 11:1-4 Prayer is one of the greatest blessings of the Christian life, but if you are anything like me sometimes you go to pray and you are not sure what to pray for. In this passage, Jesus teaches us not so much what to pray as much as He teaches us how to pray. He gives us a model or pattern for prayer, and these elements have guided our hearts and prayers for over two thousand years. Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin 1 Corinthians 15:20-26 Easter is message of hope and resurrection, it is a message of good news. You don’t have live in fear of death because Jesus has conquered death and He’s coming again. The resurrection removes the fear of death once and for all. Because Jesus is alive, death is no longer fearful or final. Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin Psalm 73 You and I are not the only ones to struggle with doubt. Many of the people in the Bible struggled to reconcile the goodness of God with the suffering of their lives. The Bible says God knows our weaknesses and He is patience and gracious to us in our temporal struggles. When we worship Him we gain an eternal perspective, and find ourselves fully satisfied in His eternal goodness and plan. |
