Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin 1 Chronicles 21:1-28 We can’t lose our salvation, but we can lose the joy of our salvation. You say, “Well I have lost it, how do I get it back?” Let me ask you, how do you get anything back that you have lost? You go back to where you were before you lost it. And that is how we get back right with God. We simply go back to how we were before we lost our passion for God.

Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin Luke 2:8-20 Why would God choose lowly shepherds to be first to hear about the birth of His Son? God announcing the birth of Christ to shepherds demonstrates His inclusiveness. The good news of salvation is for all people. The gospel makes the mundane exciting and the insignificant significant. Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin Psalm 132:1-18 Psalm 132 is one of the great Messianic Psalms of the Bible. The first half of the Psalm is about David’s desire for God’s presence to dwell among His people. The second half of the Psalm is about God’s promise to dwell among and rule over them through His Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Psalm 132 shows us we can only understand Christmas and the birth of Christ in light of the full purpose and plan of God. Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin Psalm 133:1-3 This Psalm is a beautiful prayer about the beauty and the basis for our unity. Jesus died not only to save us, but to unite us together. The purpose of Christ is to unite us together as one people in Him and it is absolutely beautiful to behold. Sermon By: Pastor Matt Spradlin Psalm 131:1-3 Pride is having greater affection for self than for God and others. Humility is loving God and others to such a degree that we gain a sense of self-forgetfulness. Pride produces arguments and division, but humility produces harmony with God and others. Without humility, no one will see God for who He really is. |
