AWANA

​AWANA  is  a worldwide  Bible centered  youth  organization for  children. The  acrostic  AWANA  comes  from  the first  letters  of  key  words  in  II  Timothy  2:15:  Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.  
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need  to  be ashamed, rightly  dividing  the word of truth” (NKJV).

The AWANA ministry is divided into several age groups that range from Kinder through 5th grade. A  typical  night  is  divided  into  three  parts:    Large Group Time, Game Time and Small Group Time (aka- handbook time).
